Brazil RC School continued its annual traditions for Lent. On Friday, March 22 was the annual day of Fasting and Prayer.
The day included praise, prayer, the re-enactment of the Last Supper and the Stations of the Cross. The pupils were encouraged to bring fruits for snack time, and meat consumption was discouraged.
On Friday, March 29, we had our annual walk-a-thon with this year’s theme being ‘A closer walk with Jesus’. Parents, teachers, and students all participated in the walk led by our Principal Hayden Small.
After the walk the day was spent at the Brazil Recreation Grounds with activities such as cricket, aerobathon, kite flying, pony rides and other enjoyable events. – Story and photo by Margaret Solomon-Mark
