Today is the last day of the national Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) conference with the theme Be Bold Be Strong in the Lord.
Msgr William John-Lewis of the Diocese of Roseau, Dominica delivers a talk 9 a.m. titled ‘Accept salvation from God to be your helmet and receive the word of God from the Spirit to be your sword’, referencing Ephesians 6:17.
The day continues with an empowerment session led by Fr Cornelius Phillip FMI, priest in the San Juan/Mt Lambert cluster, testimonies, and Archbishop Jason Gordon officiates at Holy Mass 3 p.m.
The conference opened last Friday, January 4 with Archbishop Gordon delivering an opening address and Msgr John-Lewis talking on the theme. It continued Saturday with presentations from: Fr Phillip, ‘Stand your ground with truth buckled around your waist and integrity for your breastplate’; Zion Community’s Mary Baptiste, ‘The Weapons of our Warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down stronghold’, Ephesians 6:13; Fr Trevor Nathasingh, ‘Put God’s Armour on so as to be able to resist the devil’s tactics’, Ephesians 6:11, and ‘It is not against human enemies that we have to struggle’, Ephesians 6:13.
The last talk of the day was by Archbishop Gordon on ‘Be alert and always keep on praying’ Ephesians 6:18–20 and concluded with a Healing Ministry.
