Recently-ordained Fr Clifford Mainooh CSSp celebrated his first Mass on September 7 at the Holy Trinity RC Church, Arouca as a thanksgiving for all the support he received from the parish.

Fr Mainooh will be taking up the mantle of assistant parish priest at the Holy Trinity.

The atmosphere of the Mass was enlightening and vibrant, with youths performing a choreographed dance during the meditation. Fr Mainooh thanked his Spiritan brothers, parishioners, friends and benefactors who supported him during his three years of priestly studies.

“I also wish to thank in a special way those who journeyed to Ghana for my ordination in July. This brought great joy to my family and the people of my homeland,” said Fr Mainooh. – Tenisha Sylvester
