Archbishop, coordinators give thanks for successful Youth Expo

Last Sunday Archbishop Jason Gordon hosted a thanksgiving Mass and dinner for the coordinators of the Catholic Youth Expo which was hosted by the Catholic Youth Commission June 23 at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya, Tunapuna. The Mass was celebrated at the Archbishop’s House Chapel.

Archbishop Gordon in his homily weaved together the connection between the Sunday’s gospel of the small boy with five barley loaves and two fish, and the work of youth ministry in the Archdiocese. He congratulated the team on the successful venture and said that in his conversations with the youth on the day, he felt they were energised and engaged in their faith.

At the end of Mass, Episcopal Delegate for Youth Winston Garcia also gave thanks to all the persons present for their assistance in ensuring that the event was a success, and shared that the reviews received from the many stakeholders were extremely favourable.
