Suburban youth host Splash 5k, Shepherd’s Cup qualifiers

The Suburban Vicariate Youth Council held its annual Splash 5k Run held at the Eddie Heart grounds, Tacarigua on June 19.

The day started with a Zumba warm up led by instructor, Maureen Alleyne. At 6.30 a.m. the 5k was in full gear complete with paint, powder and water as they made their way to the finish line.

Later in the day, the Suburban youth began their football qualifiers held at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sporting Arena. The chosen teams will proudly represent the Suburban Vicariate at the Shepherd’s Cup in August.

The Suburban Vicariate holds the 2017 Shepherds Cup trophy won by Bourg Mulatresse.
