Anniversaries for Nuncio, Deputy

A small group of friends and well-wishers gathered to mark a very special occasion at a home in Maraval: the 34th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu, and the 50th birthday of Msgr Julien Kaboré, Deputy Head of Mission, Apostolic Nunciature.

Highlighting the event was a sumptuous luncheon, in which seasonal fare and local market finds influenced the dishes, which were often classical with a twist, and featuring unique textures and flavours.

During the function, guests were entertained by renowned violinist, Anselm Walters. A 50th birthday cake and a 34th anniversary ordination cake were presented to the celebrants.

Archbishop Gordon, one of the invited guests, thanked all who attended and wished both His Excellency and Msgr Kaboré God’s blessings, many years of priesthood and a holy life.
