Chaguanas RC School used the theme Give the Lord Permission in Your Life for the Lenten Season, a theme which was adopted from the parish. The entire school, from 1st Year to Std 5, was exposed to Art and Craft depicting how the theme applied to their daily living. Each teacher was responsible for his/her class’ work. The Social Committee Team, comprising members of staff, was responsible for mounting the display.
This display was one of the highlights of the school’s retreat on Monday, March 5, which was a spirit-filled day where past/retired teachers were present and made their contributions to the day’s proceedings. – Julie Jennings-Chan, Catholic Education Regional Officer–Central Vicariate.
