The Suburban Vicariate Youth Council (SUVY) held its annual retreat on February 25 at St Peter’s RC, Maracas Bay which targeted youth leaders of the Suburban Vicariate. However, parishioners of the 10.45 a.m. Communion Service at St Peter’s also joined them for praise and worship.
The leadership event was guided by the theme: God’s love and Jesus is present to heal, on which Deacon Sheldon Narine and Randy St Rose addressed those gathered.
Even though the inclement weather made it challenging to get to the parish we rallied through with unbending faith and were able to enjoy a wonderful day praising, worship and learning more about God’s love for us.
