The Central Vicariate’s Got Talent 5 came off at the Holy Faith Convent, Couva on September 2. The theme was Our Lady of Fatima In Our Lives Today.
Masters of Ceremony were Allister Guppy and Sharla Elcock while the opening remarks were delivered by Episcopal Delegate for Youth, Winston Garcia. The 15 youth competitors then took to the stage to perform a piece in either song, spoken word, dance or instrumental that reflected the theme.
At the end of the competition the top three were, Karina Rodriquez of Chaguanas performing spoken word (1st), Tsian Lee Wen also of Chaguanas performing a dance (2nd) and Omari Assoon of Tortuga performing spoken word (3rd). – Story and photos by Elmo Griffith
