|Pres boys leaves hospital – Feb 5|
The two Form 4 students of Presentation College, San Fernando, who were warded at the San Fernando General Hospital on Monday have been discharged and are back home with their parents.
The duo was hospitalised following a stabbing incident at the school, in which both young men were injured, one with suspected self-inflicted wounds. One of them was discharged early Tuesday afternoon, while the other was discharged later the same day.
Principal Dexter Mitchell has been able to make contact with both families and so far has been able to speak directly with one of the boys, assuring him the college was ready to assist in his recovery and his eventual re-entry to his studies. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Meanwhile Education Minister Dr Tim Gopeesingh was expected to visit the school today (Wed).
