Archbishop Joseph Harris continues to make good progress following his surgery for a prostate disorder, although he has had to be once again warded at the St Clair Medical Centre. Mr Leon Lilas, attending surgeon, urologist and lecturer in Urological Surgery at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, UWI, described the Archbishop’s condition, as “anemia, secondary to a peptic ulcer”. Mr Lilas stressed that Archbishop Harris’ condition is related neither to an infection nor his recent surgery, as has been reported.
