Most Reverend Joseph Harris Archbishop of Port of Spain August 19, 2012 PRAYER FOR DIASTER VICTIMS Almighty and powerful God we know that all things work together for good for those that love you (Rom 8:28). We ask you, Lord, to heal the wounds inflicted by the recent disaster in Trinidad and Tobago, broken families, hurting individuals, devastated infrastructure, and shattered communications. We prayer that our leaders will be inspired to sustain their people at this time and to engender a deep spirit of solidarity, so that a new spirit of caring, forgiveness and honesty will be born again in our nation. May we, as a united people, move with clear purpose to do our part in Trinidad and Tobago to help rebuild the people and the nation of Trinidad and Tobago. We make this prayer through Jesus Christ, Lord of all. Amen |
