The Catholic Religious Education Development Institute (CREDI) has been re-registered by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) for a maximum period of three years, which is the highest an institution can get. The registration became effective on the day following the expiration of CREDI’s previous registered period on July 11 2010 and will expire on July 10 2013. The action follows a site visit by the ACTT last year. Following this information being sent to the Minister of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education, the school would be placed on the National Register of Post-Secondary and Tertiary Institutions. Apart from the various registration and re-registration fees which CREDI would have to pay, the registration allows CREDI to display ACTT’s symbol for registered institutions on its website, official documentation, correspondence and promotional material. CREDI’s main campus is located at Robinsonville in Belmont. There are other campuses throughout the country. |
