Let us continue to pray for the people of Haiti PRAYER FOR HAITI Almighty and powerful God we know that all things work together for good for those that love you (Rom 8:28). We ask you, Lord to heal the wounds inflicted by the recent disaster in Haiti: broken families, hurting individuals, devastated infrastructure, and shattered communications. We pray that our leaders will be inspired to sustain their people at this time and to engender a deep spirit of solidarity, so that a new spirit of caring, forgiveness and honesty will be born again in our region. May we, as a united people, move with clear purpose to do our part within the Caribbean community to help rebuild the people and the nation of Haiti. We make this prayer through Jesus Christ, Lord of all. Amen EVANGELIZATION COMMISSION (January 2010) |
